This Week’s Curiosity
Breakdown break down. Trying to stay creative writing a little peculiar intro. Sharpen the pencil while sharpening the mind. Writing about what I consume because that makes me, me.
📉 401k Plans
“Finance Guy”. Pretty official title. One many would trust blindly (never a good practice). Be curious enough to question.
I don’t plan on seeing that when I’m 70 years old. I think the US financial system is over-leveraged and because of this hyperinflation or collapse will happen in my lifetime. So, 40 years down the line that 401k will be nonexistent or worth much less than I’d like it to be.
I find it hard to believe Bitcoin, the only infinitely scarce commodity on earth, will be able to purchase me less dollars in the future.
Obviously “Finance Guy” thinks the opposite of me. He thinks Bitcoin is going to 0 and then in 50 years Tylers 401k could have him retiring comfortably. I can’t say 401k plans are an outright scam but I think the Finance guy is trying to roast cousin Tyler unfairly.
👆🏻💰Houses
The median sales price of a home in the US is now 560% of the median household income. Not great for those of us trying to buy a home (me). Why’s this happening? I believe this sums it up well 👇🏻I think in about 10 years people will realize bitcoin can hold value like houses do (well, better) and it doesn’t require maintenance.
💭 A Thought of Mine
I was doing some thinking around the argument that bitcoin mining centralization is dangerous to Bitcoin.
🧠My Thought: “Nothing can be dangerous to an unstoppable force”
Many people argue that Bitcoin is inevitable. Some of those same people will argue we need to protect bitcoin. If something is inevitable it is unstoppable. Claiming certainty is bold, but I just cannot see another way. There are no dangers to an unstoppable force. All forces can do is possibly delay the inevitable.
In this case I guess that’s a danger, but I don’t think it’s a danger to Bitcoin. I think this is a danger to humanity. My belief is the quicker bitcoin gains mass adoption the better off the world will be. So, prolonging that can hurt humanity.

Quote/Tweet
“What numeral is to number, and zero is to the void for mathematics, Bitcoin is to absolute scarcity for money: each is a symbol that allows mankind to apprehend a latent reality (in the case of money, time).” - Robert Breedlove
Glass
I enjoy unique beer glasses. I love them as conversation pieces. I love them for living in the moment. I enjoy making designs. So I’m just putting them here. I guess it’s just sort of as a creative outlet.
I would love to know. I love discussion over this type of shit.
